MCNP simulation of the neutron background at the WNR facility at LANL
MCNP design of an "almost critical" fast reactor assembly, for DTRA
Initial conceptual design of fast-neutron detector safeguards systems
Simulation of Single Event Upset in semiconductor devices due to neutron radiation
Modified the design of 3He neutron detectors in portal monitors, to save 30% of the gas
Developed neutron detectors for non-proliferation, treaty-verification, and "star-wars" applications
Technical consulting, advice and support for NNSA/NA-256 (Second Line of Defense) program managers
Ongoing and Recently Completed Projects:
Supporting the NNSA Material Management and Minimization (M3) office (NA-231) to review proposals and development of new methods to provide a reliable supply of Mo-99 for pharmaceutical use
Supporting the LANL/WNR program of determining single-event upset rates of electronic circuits due to atmospheric neutrons
Supporting MOXIE (Modeling of X-Ray Imaging Equipment) for DHS using MCNP
